I patiently await your temporary departures. Those attempted respites you spend traveling to a faux-rational platform of patience of deliberateness. 

 

Our time apart only grows my pending discharge, the clock amasses my pull while “others” and “things” gnaw on your shallow nerves. Your need for me is the catalyst for release to your raw, pent-up emotions. 

 

 

 

 

I am the endorphin your body craves, triggering your fist, releasing your carnal thoughts, driving your mouth and ashamed actions. I justify your mind’s explanation of your psyche, the rationale which ensues after the storm quells. 

 

Fondly embrace me and we shall commiserate. Trust in me and I will destroy everything around you, leaving only the two of us standing proudly over everything opposing us. 

 

Rest assured, when you choose me, we are bound. I am faithful to you and will share you with no other. We are inseparable and will travel life’s journey, solitary companions to the end.
